sissy

2013 - 2025

Yesterday, the world became a little quieter, and our hearts a lot heavier, as we said goodbye to our precious Shih Tzu girl, Sissy. A tiny dog with a spirit ten times her size, Sissy filled our lives with boundless joy, unconditional love, and the kind of comforting presence that only a truly special companion can provide.

Though she may have been a little floof of fur, her personality was anything but small. We'll always remember her characteristic traits: the enthusiastic wiggles that greeted us at the door, the gentle snoring that was the soundtrack to our evenings, and the demanding little puffs she'd make when she wanted a treat or a cozy spot on the couch. Every quirk, every tilt of her head, every funny little hop was a unique part of the girl we adored.

Sissy wasn't just a pet; she was a family member, a confidante, and a furry little shadow who was always right where she needed to be. She taught us so much about simple pleasures—the warmth of a sunbeam, the satisfaction of a good nap, and the power of a loving gaze.

The house feels empty now, but our memories are full. We will forever cherish the countless cuddles, the happy walks, and all the little moments that made up her wonderful life.

To our sweet Sissy, thank you for choosing us. Thank you for all the love you gave so freely. We will miss you more than words can say, but your paw prints will remain etched upon our hearts forever.

Run free, sweet girl. Until we meet again.
