Ronnie

2016 - 2022

Ronnie was a kind, fun, spunky and affectionate boy. He came to us back in September of 2020 as a stray and slowly acclimated himself into our home, ultimately becoming our indoor/outdoor cat. He had his typical routine of sitting by the door in the early morning hours to be let out to use a specific tree to sharpen his claws, and when he was ready to come back inside he would wait in the garage or by the door to be let in so he could have his breakfast. He had quirks about him that are unforgettable such as, enjoying slow rides on the golf cart, playing inside paper bags, laying in our empty flowerpots full or dirt, sunbathing on the porch, to drinking from the pool (even though mom would get after him so he wouldn’t get sick). Ronnie brought so much light and love into our lives even though his start to life was rather rough and difficult. He battled a double ear infection and possibly some trauma to his ears due to having to defend himself in the outdoors, and in his last days he battled a very short but difficult fight with feline lymphoma. We are fortunate to have loved him the short time we had with him. He made our lives better and based on the love he gave back, we feel we made his better too. Our hearts are empty but the memories are surely full. We love you buddy and will never forget you.
