Rex brown odum
2024 - 2026
Rex was born in 2024 but did not have a good life before I found him. The first part of his life he was a bait dog and the world was not very kind to him. He was found at an abandoned house malnourished, chained up, and wounded. Once he was brought to me I got him to the vet, started healing his wounds, and making sure he never starved again. I named him after rex brown, the bass guitarist for one of the best heavy metal bands of all time, pantera. Then came parvo but my rexy dude was a fighter. He whooped parvo with no problem. Over time rex got to be happy, spoiled, and got to sleep with a full belly every night. He had the best zoomies and as soon as I came home from worm he was all wiggles. Sadly we did not have enough time together. His last 3 weeks were a struggle because he kept getting sicker and sicker but right before he crossed the rainbow bridge we took one more ride in my truck while listening to music and watching the sunset, picked him up a double cheeseburger and the 2 ice cream sandwiches he had been trying forever to steal, and in his last moments he was my happy baby boy again. The double cheeseburger and ice cream sandwiches were no match for my rexy dude and he stood undefeated. I did like i promised him day one, i was right there with him until the end. At the end he was still my happy rexy dude and even though i miss him I’m happy he is no longer sick. Run free rexy dude!!!!!! I love you beyond forever!!!!!!!!!
