We lost our dear sweet girl on August 1. You filled our lives with joy, laughter, and love for eleven years that went all too quickly. We miss the sounds that you filled the house with—your breathing, your paws on the floor, your barking when someone was at the door, slurping water from your bowl, the noises you made when it was meal time. We miss you leaning against our legs, how you reacted joyfully every time you got a new toy, and how you always greeted us at the door—tail wagging, toy in your mouth. We miss your quirks and the love and comfort that you gave so freely. You were always there for us, and all you asked for in return was our love; all you wanted to do was please us and make us happy—which you did. The house is too quiet with you gone. We still look for you reflexively when we enter a room. Your absence leaves a hole that we cannot fill, but you enriched our lives beyond measure and we are so grateful to have known you. We will never forget you dear sweet girl. You are the best doggie.
