2009 - 2025

Bourbon Muttstard decided that today was the day to shuffle off of this mortal coil after a final feast of Hot Cheetos, Red Velvet chocolate chip cookies, and a chicken nugget happy meal. Born in 2009, and found in 2011, she had 3 days left before the shelter in LA was going to put her down, and even though she didn’t want to even look at me in her pen I knew I couldn’t leave her behind. From that day on, over the last 14 years, she was by my side. Traveling cross country multiple times, up and down both coasts, and living in 3 different states, always by my side with a snuggle and a grin. She ran through the sand in Huntington Beach and San Diego whenever she could, went to work with me at The Eastern in Austin, killed copperheads in the woods of Dale TX, and settled into a comfy retirement basking in the sun or by the fire pit here in Richmond. She leaves behind a plethora of discarded stuffed babies, her pain in the ass doggo sisters, and a family that will miss tripping over her every time they’re in the kitchen. We love you, we’ll miss you, and hopefully wherever you are there’s always a fresh pile of hot cheetos ready for you my sweet girl ♥️
