Bella

2016 - 2022

3 years ago I saw a post from a local shelter that it was her last day or she would be put down. Something about her precious face told me to drop everything and go pick her up. We fostered her for less than a week before we both fell in love with her and decided we would adopt her into our family. It took a bit longer than the rest to adjust to our home but once she fully opened up, it was the most beautiful thing. Bella was the most sweetest and loving dog. She always put all her brothers and sisters first, but was never forgotten. She helped me keep everyone in line and was our little referee during play time. Our little baked potato gave the best hugs and smiles every time she saw you.
She spent her last 12 hours in her home surrounded by her mommy and daddy, brothers and sisters. She enjoyed many cuddles and ice cubes and got to sunbath one last time. She also got to spend time with her uncle Cris, her Grandma and Gumpy and Aunt Ashley. We would like to say a huge thank you to Ashley and Dr. Cotton for helping us through the process and taking care of our Miss Bella during her final moments and afterwards. We are more than grateful for everyone who helped us during this hard time.
You will be missed more than you know Miss Bella. We love you so much and I hope your trip over the rainbow bridge has taken your pain away and we will see you again someday. Rest in peace sweet girl.
