In Loving Memory of Oscar
Oscar was my BABY BOY, my little shadow, and one of the greatest LOVES of my life. He came into my life after being rescued BY MY MOM IN 2012, and in 2018 I became his full-time caregiver. From that moment on, we faced everything together. Diabetes, heart disease, collapsing trachea, arthritis, blindness, hearing loss—none of those things ever defined him. They were simply obstacles we navigated side by side. Through every insulin injection, medication, vet visit, sleepless night, and celebration of another good day, Oscar showed me what resilience, trust, and unconditional love truly looked like.
Despite all he endured, Oscar never stopped loving life. He enjoyed being outside, taking slow walks, soaking up the sunshine, enjoying his treats, and most of all, being close to the people who loved him. His gentle spirit touched everyone who met him. Saying goodbye was ONE OF the hardest DECISIONS I'VE ever had to make, but it was also the greatest act of love I could give him. After years of fighting so hard, he deserved peace.
Thank you, my sweet boy, for every tail wag, every cuddle, and every lesson you taught me. You will forever be a part of who I am, and there will always be a place in my heart that belongs only to you.
Run free, my precious Oscar. Until we meet again. ❤️
